Cross Town Planning represented a client in the suburban area of Winchester City Council for the demolition of their existing single storey bungalow and redevelopment with the adjacent modernist new home. 

Cross Town Planning successfully demonstrated the development would enhance the character and appearance of the area and could be used to benchmark for similar developments

Planning Appeal Conservation Area:

Cross Town Planning represented a client in the Conservation Area of Sevenoaks for the demolition of an existing building and replacement with contemporary dwelling.

Through arguing the fact that the development did not harm the character and appearance of the Conservation Area, and could be argued to enhance it, we were able to subsequently achieve planning permis

Redevelopment of Existing Industrial Site to 9 Dwellings:

Cross Town Planning acted on behalf of a local developer in redeveloping a former industrial site to 9 new homes in on the outskirts of Surrey.

The site was heavily constrained by nearby dwellings, a sloping topography and heritage assets in the nearby vicinity.

Cross Town Planning successfully advised on the planning strategy and provided supporting planning documentation for the redevelopment of an existing dwelling in Polberro, Cornwall for the substantial redevelopment to a new modernist dwelling.

Cross Town Planning provided Planning Consultancy advice to the owners of a 1.5 storey bungalow in West Sussex who sought a substantial re-modelling of the rear of the property to achieve a larger and more usable internal living space to their property.

The Local Planning Authority had previously refused planning permission and Cross Town Planning were approached to

Cross Town Planning provided development advice and represented the owners at a Planning Appeal for the redevelopment of the owner's existing dwelling.

Despite the initial refusal of planning permission from the Local Planning Authority, the Planning Inspectorate considered the development resulted in an uplift to the overall design quality of the area
